Teatro Terapia ¡Me urge! es una compañía de teatro que nació de un grupo de amigos sin experiencia ni conocimiento, pero con mucha alma y corazón. Nadie hubiera imaginado que lo que comenzamos en fiestas temáticas, todos disfrazados celebrándonos o celebrando a nuestros hijos, nos llevaría hoy día a escenarios de verdad con luces, sonido y un querido público.
Hoy, después de esas primeras reuniones en 2017, se han ido integrando actores con preparación teatral y así hemos ido creciendo, aprendiendo los unos de los otros.
Hay dos cosas que nunca nos faltan: alegría para levantar nuestros proyectos y seriedad para trabajar y sacarlos adelante. Además, nosotros escribimos nuestras propias obras. Cuando no se trata de obras 100% originales, creamos historias basadas en programas televisivos o películas populares, buscando siempre dejar un mensaje positivo para nuestro público.
Somos un grupo que cree que unidos logramos más. Cada participante trata de que todos y cada uno seamos la mejor versión de nosotros mismos. Estamos orgullosos de la buena energía que se ha generado en cada obra de teatro e impulsamos a la gente a actuar porque creemos que todos podemos estar en un escenario, si nos lo proponemos.
Las ganas de divertirnos que nos reunía en fiestas infantiles en nuestras casas, nos lleva ahora a diferentes espacios con la intención de compartir nuestra alegría y nuestro amor por el arte y la cultura. La vida es mejor cuando uno deja de tomársela tan en serio, y en nuestras obras se llega a dar una especie de terapia que a todos, sin saberlo, nos urge y que nos viene de mucha ayuda para ahuyentar a ese enemigo silencioso al que llaman estrés.
Le advertimos que todo lo que diga podrá ser usado en su contra. Nuestra talentosa escritora y directora, Rosalba Aguirre, suele inspirarse y nutrirse de las conversaciones ajenas, sacando el mejor provecho para luego obligarnos a todos a vernos en escena, eso sí, como parte de un gran espectáculo. Sobre aviso no hay engaño: tenga usted cuidado con lo que comparte, no vaya a ser que luego aparezca en alguna obra de Teatro Terapia ¡Me urge!

Teatro Terapia ¡Me urge! is a theater company born from a group of friends with no experience or training, but with a whole lot of soul and heart. No one could have imagined that what began at themed parties, all of us in costume celebrating ourselves or our kids, would eventually lead us to real stages with lights, sound, and a beloved audience.
Today, after those first gatherings in 2017, actors with formal theater training have joined us, and we've kept growing, learning from one another along the way.
There are two things we never run short on: the joy to get our projects off the ground, and the seriousness to actually finish them. We also write our own plays. When a piece isn't 100% original, we build stories based on popular TV shows or movies, always aiming to leave a positive message for our audience.
We're a group that believes we go further together. Every member pushes everyone else, and themselves, to be the best version of who they are. We're proud of the good energy each production has generated, and we encourage people to get up on stage, because we believe anyone can, if they set their mind to it.
The same urge to have fun that used to bring us together at kids' birthday parties now takes us to different venues, driven by the same desire to share our joy and our love of art and culture. Life is better once you stop taking it so seriously, and in our plays there's a kind of therapy that, without anyone quite realizing it, we all need — one that helps chase away that quiet enemy people call stress.
Fair warning: anything you say may be used against you. Our talented writer and director, Rosalba Aguirre, tends to draw inspiration from other people's conversations, taking the best material and eventually putting all of us on stage with it, as part of a bigger show, of course. Consider yourself warned: be careful what you share, or you might just end up in the next Teatro Terapia ¡Me urge! production.
